Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is scheme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi under vision of Housing for all by 2022 and to promote affordable housing across nation. Calculated subsidy is given over loan amount under different segments in EWS,LIG,MIG 1 and MIG 2 as per norms.
Any person who is looking to purchase,construct or renovate a home is eligible under scheme.
A beneficiary family will comprise husband,wife, unmarried sons and/ or unmarried daughters. The beneficiary family should not own a pucca house (an all weather dwelling unit) either in his/her name or in the name of any member of his/her family in any part of India.
An adult earning member (irrespective of marital status) can be treated as a separate household; Provided that he / she does not own apucca (an all weather dwelling unit) house in his / her name in any part of India.
Provided also that in the case of a married couple, either of the spouses or both together in joint ownership will be eligible for a single use, subject to income eligibility of the household under the Scheme.
Property to be in name of the Female Member of the Household or in the joint name of Male Head (for new purchases and not for new construction on an existing piece of land). Household with no adult female member can have house in male member
While applying for loan in NHHFDL we will check if you fulfill all basic criteria for PMAY & if you fulfill all norms you will be eligible to avail interest subsidy under this scheme.
